Although the magnetic sheet can be placed against itself to attract magnetically, it is often placed against a ferromagnetic surface (mild steel sheet, ferrous sheet, etc).
The magnetic sheet’s maximum working temperature is constrained by the binder.
A demagnetization occurs when the binder softens over +80 °C and the magnetic domains cancel one another.
Therefore, +80 degrees C is the maximum working temperature.
Effectiveness of Magnetic Sheets
The thickness of the material affects the magnetic performance. The draw force rating for the thinnest magnetic sheet (0.5mm and 0.6mm thick) is 22 grams per square centimeter.
